Wednesdays are about strength and stability. Examining full range strength throughout the body using strict criteria on form is the goal of the day. Using full available ranges and off line strength work, we will be finding the weak links. We will also make good use again of the fantastic training tool that is soft sand. No better way to examine stability than to test it on an unstable surface. We finish Wednesdays with some creative core conditioning and partner challenges for the fun of it.
Bring a bottle of water, dry towel and you may want dry clothes to change after class. Wear work out gear, or athletic beach attire and flip flops or running shoes (if you must) as we encourage training on the beach to be done barefoot.
Quantity:
Classes prioritize the use of the environment but also feature minimal equipment to allow full body training. Pushing, pulling, crawling, jumping, core strengthening, stamina, and coordination will all come into play.
